It was a memorable Test match for captain Virat Kohli and Team India at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium here. Kohli joined an elite company of Indian cricketers during his 200-run knock. On way to his maiden Test double century, Kohli completed 12,000 runs in international cricket, across all three formats. He is the 8th Indian to reach the milestone. Overall in world cricket, he is the 51st batsman in the list.  Thanks to Kohli's dominating innings and Ravichandran Ashwin's all-round show (113 and 7 wickets), India thrashed West Indies by an innings and 92 runs on Sunday (July 24) for their biggest Test win outside of Asia. The 27-year-old Kohli is also the first Indian captain to score a double ton in an overseas Test. Kohli made his international cricket debut in 2008, in a One Day International against Sri Lanka in Dambulla and since then has emerged as one of the best batsmen .
